• Please help support our church's blessing box. Many from the community are coming here for help with food. You can add it to the box directly or leave it in the fellowship hall to be put in. Just pick up one or two non-perishable items when you do your regular shopping. Examples of things to add: peanut butter & jelly, granola bars, cereal, soup & crackers, pasta & pasta sauce, pancake mix & syrup, applesauce, and canned tuna. These are just examples of items that are usually gone very quickly. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE EXPIRED ITEMS. Thank you.

• Lunch is potluck style, so bring a dish to share

• Side Note: Bring some firewood to share for the fireplace. Bring your evening snacks to share, like hotdogs, chips, chili, baked potatoes, smores, etc… Wear comfortable fall clothes and bring a jacket or blanket if the weather is cool. Come and enjoy a wonderful Sabbath in nature and enjoy some fellowship!

• Christmas Play We are preparing for our Christmas play fundraiser. If your child is 5-16 years old and interested in being a part of the play this year, please contact Mary Scalzitti 219-333-7123 by October 5th (All children attending our church school will have a part in the play). The Christmas play will be on December 14, 2025

• Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry is underway! This year’s goal is 50 boxes - last year our church packed 47 boxes!! Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Operation Christmas Child partners with churches like ours and other ministries in more than 100 countries each year to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with millions of children and invite them to follow up discipleship. Your shoebox and prayers can make all the difference. Drop off date at our church is Sabbath, November 22nd following church service. Look for boxes and packing information coming soon in the church lobby.  Thank you for your faithfulness!
