Please help support our church's blessing box. Many from the community are coming here for help with food. You can add it to the box directly or leave it in the fellowship hall to be put in. Just pick up one or two non-perishable items when you do your regular shopping. Examples of things to add: peanut butter & jelly, granola bars, cereal, soup & crackers, pasta & pasta sauce, pancake mix & syrup, applesauce, and canned tuna. These are just examples of items that are usually gone very quickly. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE EXPIRED ITEMS. Thank you.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry This year’s goal is 50 boxes. Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Drop off date at our church is Sabbath, November 22nd following church service. It costs &10 per box to ship, so bring that as well.
It's that time of year when we reach out to distribute gift cards to those in our church family or people you know who could use some help. Please contact Jim Pavelka so he can make a list and get the cards and distribute them.
On October 7, an unfortunate accident occurred at our school that required the RMS Hazmat Team to perform a thorough professional cleaning of the facility. Lake County Hazmat Team has confirmed that both the church and the school were properly decontaminated and are completely safe for continued use.
Because this incident is not covered by insurance, the Indiana Conference has graciously agreed to contribute $15,000 which is half of the total cost of the cleanup. Our church is responsible for the other half of the payment to the RMS Hazmat Company.
We invite you to prayerfully consider giving a special donation to help cover this unexpected expense. Please mark your tithe envelope or online giving as “Clean-Up Fund.”
Thank you for your continued generosity and support of our church and school ministries.
